A gorgeous shaped circular brooch in a typical celtic style in sterling silver, it is set with hardstone panels and has a large central prong set cairnorgm glass stone. There are four rich red garnet coloured paste cabochons set into the corners. The silver is lightly engraved and has an old c type clasp fastener. Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1880s.
