The collar is decorated in relief with a greyhound or other sight houndThe long slim stock or shaft is made of red brown malacca cane with its distinctive teardrop shaped cross section

1922 Antique Swaine & Adeney Leather Hunting Whip - w1701 bridle It has a rectangular footplateThis whip has a staghorn handle. There would have been silver button on the heel of the staghorn but this has been lost. It has a silver collar which is stamped "Swaine" and hallmarked London 1922. The collar is engraved "A. R D" . There are dents across the engraving. The stock or shaft is covered in brown braided leather. It has a stitched leather keeper and a pale braided leather thong with knot at its end.
