After photographing the wildflowers

I started to look for patterns with color and found many cloud subjects to choose from

A beautiful scene of french canyon falls comes into view as you climb up the bedrock through the french canyon creek at Starved Rock State Park

I didn't have far to hike to reach the west end of the park where there was an abundance of wildflowers along with a mist in front of the box elder trees that line the banks of Eakin Creek West

OUR AMAZING WORLD FROZEN BRANCHES After photographing the wildflowersThere are many common milkweed plants in this part of the park. The seed pods are late opening this year and should have released the seeds a couple months ago. Many of the seeds and fluff are finally exposed and will eventually be carried off during the next windy day at Wildflower Park. (620 262)
