Vintage Japanese Showa Usubata Bronze Vase Buddhist Family Shrine Bamboo with minimum purchase of 3)This is an antique Japanese mid Showa Era (c. 1940) bronze mini Usubata (flower vase). This vase was used in a butsudan (Buddhist family shrine) to offer flowers. It is made of a heavy bronze and has a thick raised design of birds on branches with flowers. This vase measures 4 1 2" wide at the fluted top to 3" at the base by 5 1 2" tall (11. 5 x 7. 5 x 14 cm). With exception to some signs of use with bumps and one cracked elephant head seen in pic 2
